The pub dates from the mid 19th Century and was originally called the The Garrick as it was attached to the first Garrick Theatre, which was situated behind the pub. Benjamin Oliver Conquest was the theatre manager there in the early part of the 19th Century.
We love GIN! with a current range of over 200 different bottles stocked we are adding new varieties daily so look out for your new favorite!
When we re-open upstairs will turn into our Gin Bar with an even bigger range than ever!.
We will be returning some original features, updating the décor, replacing the toilets, adding disabled facilities, creating new access to the first floor and lots more!
We hope your as excited as we are for the venue upgrade and can't wait to show it off. Look out for updates on our grand opening which should take place in March.
We will be keeping our quiz night when we re-open and adding a second day.

Currently there are no accessible toilet facilities' or baby changing, the ground floor however does have step free access. When we re-open a disabled toilet will be added.
